Kilfinnan Road: pre-application screening
The Coire Glas project team is making preparations for the next stage in development of the Coire Glas hydro pumped storage scheme. This will include a planning application for the upgrading and realigning the Kilfinnan Road to allow safe transportation of staff, materials and equipment to the lower works during project construction, while ensuring improved access for residents and other road users.

Inaugural Community Liaison Group meeting held
An inaugural meeting of the Coire Glas Community Liaison Group (CLG) was held on 14 July via video conference.
The CLG is an opportunity for representatives of the community to contribute to the progress of Coire Glas, a proposed pumped storage hydro facility near Loch Lochy, which would be the first scheme of its type to be built in the UK for more than 30 years.
Community Update
A second meeting of the Kilfinnan Road residents’ forum will be held on Wednesday 30 June. The forum will discuss survey and assessment which has been taking place along the road since the first forum in March.
