Start of Ground Investigation Works

Contractors operating on behalf of SSE Renewables will begin Ground Investigation Works on Kilfinnan Road during week commencing 1 November.

The Ground Investigation Works will inform the design process for upgrades to the Kilfinnan Road and consist of three major parts:

• Trial pits

• Boreholes

• Site compound activity

The work will be conducted by BAM Ritchies and is expected to last for six weeks. The hours of work are 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. No Sunday working is scheduled.

The road will remain open, with contractors using handheld ‘Stop/Go’ signs where necessary to ensure safe traffic management.
